Sweco serves the food, chemical, pharmaceutical, paper, and many other

specifications for the individual customer.
Technologies
Sweco has the ability to separate particle sizes from 3 to 2000 µm,
depending on your application. Sweco’s use of high-speed vibration,
ultrasonics, centrifugal machinery, and systems technologies enables it to
effectively perform these particle processes.
Technical services
The most predominant service Sweco offers is in the field of service
engineers, who on average maintain more than 20 years of experience. Sweco
also offers its customers the convenience of field tests as well as on-site
testing laboratories in Kentucky, Belgium, and Singapore, where full- scale
tests can be run. Sweco has also developed a MicroLab in Kentucky for
small-scale testing. In addition, Sweco offers a completely equipped
centrifuge trailer to perform full scale on-site centrifuge performance
demonstrations at a customer’s plant or waste treatment site.
Facilities
In
addition to its world headquarters in Florence, Kentucky, Sweco has
manufacturing facilities in Macon, Georgia; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Nivelles,
Belgium; Edinburgh, Scotland; and Singapore; a joint venture, Swequipos, in
Mexico; and a licensee, Lockers, in Australia. In addition, sales offices
have been established in Bombay, India and Bogotá, Colombia. Our sales force
is one of the largest in the industry with representative offices in
practically every major city in the world (40 – North America; 8 – South
America.; 43 – Europe; 13 – Asia).

Sweco
offers a full line of separation equipment, including the Vibro-Energy®
Round Separator, Full-Flow™ Rectangular Separator, Centrifuge and
Treatment
Services Equipment, Turbo-Screen® Air Classifier, White Water
Filter, and Centrifugal Sifter, as well as grinding and finishing mills. Sweco also offers a complete line of aftermarket parts and screens,
including screen innovations such as the Supertaut Plus screen designed with
a pure white adherent which applies FDA approved chemistry with the
durability to withstand caustic and steam cleaning, and severe environments.
Other screening innovations include Sweco’s Sanitary Screen and
Magnum
Screen technology. The Sanitary Screen utilizes a silicone substitute
adhesive for screens used in any USDA and other sanitary applications. The
Magnum Screen was developed for increased strength, significantly improving
screen life over traditional designs.
As
a world leader, Sweco has worked hard to develop new products and
technologies to help its customers. In the past few years, Sweco has
developed the latest innovations in the industry, including the
Non-Vibrating QuickChange™ Separator, which significantly reduces downtime
in changing screens; the Sono-Energy™ System, which imparts ultrasonic
vibration to the screen surface, creating an anti-blinding action; the PSI,
a reliable pressure sifter; the Avalanche™ Separator, which increases
capacity by as much as 67% with the same footprint as a standard size round
separator; and the PharmASep™, a revolutionary design for critical
pharmaceutical and specialty chemical separation requirements. Sweco has
also expanded its product line to include decanting centrifuges and waste
treatment services using field-proven technologies from our parent company.
